Appointment Policy
To allow sufficient time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. We set aside time each day for those pets who become acutely ill or have injuries. Emergency cases always receive top urgency, followed by scheduled appointments. Though we cannot always anticipate emergencies or cases that take longer than the scheduled time, we strive to see scheduled appointments in a timely manner.

We can usually provide you an appointment within 48 hours of the time you call, or sooner if the matter is urgent. Please call 816.373.1098 to schedule an appointment.

If you are unable to come during available appointment times, a drop off arrangement may also be made starting as early as 7 AM Monday through Friday. A drop off means that you leave your pet with us to complete the medical care needed and pick him/her up at a later time.

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

We do not charge for telephone consultations and we can be reached during business hours by calling the clinic's telephone number, 816.373.1098 . Our office staff will try to answer your questions or refer you to a technician or veterinarian. In most cases the veterinarian will be able to return your call within the hour, but occasionally on very busy days, the veterinarian may call you back at the end of the day. If there are special time constraints, please let our staff know.

Owners are often surprised that fees vary from clinic to clinic. The reason is that all veterinary care is not the same. In fact, quality of care varies widely. Our fees reflect top quality care by a dedicated, highly trained, and long-term staff with an unparalleled level of compassion for your pet. Our goal is to provide advanced veterinary medical and surgical protocols which never hold back on quality of care.

Our fees for routine services can be quoted by our office staff, but often a thorough evaluation of your pet's history and individual problems is required. To give you a more accurate estimate of fees we will be happy to provide, upon request, an itemized estimate before services are rendered. All owners of pets requiring in-patient procedures will be given treatment estimates upon admission into the hospital. We have no desire to extend anyone beyond their means or intentions.

Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, check, or Care Credit*.
